Super Change Champion

This Month: The whole world belongs to you! 😜 🕊️ 🌟

“Be content with what you have. Rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you”, Lao Tzu.

Dear Champs,

I came across the photo of this girl and I loved it straight away. The text on her t-shirt is ‘Future leader’. Now isn’t she the cutest?

I have added 2 photos of her to e-courses of mine: Wicked Wednesday and Change Champion. So, the visuals are there to make the courses livelier. I hope you will like it!

I figured this girl’s smile and the reminder of ‘future leader’ would go very well with today’s topic: The whole world belongs to you. Or in other words: there is always hope and go for it!

How did this topic show up in my life lately? I moved to Mallorca in December ’19 after a try-out month in October ’19. And since my move to the island, I have been very busy. I do so many things in one single day, that by 21:00 PM, I am in bed; exhausted, but happy!

I never ever did so much per day when I was still living in Amsterdam, as I do here. The reason for that? I want to make it work here on Mallorca. I really like it here, and I want to stay. I do NOT want to go back to Amsterdam.

I was back ‘home’ for 2 weeks in February and that taught me I do NOT want to go back. It does not feel like home anymore. Also, never ever again will I go back in Winter time. This season is one of the main reasons why I left and I’m done with the city. Being Highly Sensitive (HSP) simply means I need to adapt my life, and live close to nature and have sheep as my neighbours, not loud people ;)!

I had a great time in Amsterdam ever since I moved there in 2009, but the last 5 years Hugo and I have been travelling a lot, and Spain, Mozambique and South-Africa are the places where we now feel most at home.

Thus, since I arrived on Mallorca my CV has landed in all kinds of inboxes. And to find a suitable house, I have done the same. I have emailed all kinds of people and posted in all kinds of Facebook groups and I checked all kinds of housing websites almost daily.

The results?

  • We both found freelance work.
  • We found a house for the next months.
  • We are setting up all kinds of activities and events.
  • We are getting to know all kinds of interesting people.

And this will continue. How exciting!

Now all of the activities that I undertook are so important. These MCA’s (Momentum Creating Activities) sometimes (!) don’t seem to work at all. Until I get a response out of what seems to feel like nowhere, and then I realize these MCA’s DO work. We just need to be a little more patient!

It’s a little bit like this …

You have to take steps every day towards your goal to create a momentum. And then it’s like the Universe will start spinning to come up with the right solution for you. Eventually this ‘storm’ will calm down and the right thing will come your way.

And in the meantime, while waiting for the right thing to happen at the right time, it’s just like like Lao Tzu states:

“Be content with what you have.
Rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.”

How about you?

  • Are you content with what you have?
  • Can you rejoice in the way things are?
  • Do you realize you have all that you need?
  • Do you feel the whole world belongs to you?
